Thursday, September 4th, we gathered customers and partners for Rubus Afterwork at Mesh Youngstorget in Oslo. More than 80 people from over 30 companies registered, and we had an inspiring afternoon with professional talks, knowledge sharing, and a bit of social time into the evening.
Great line up of speakers:
• Jørn Are Skjelvan, CEO at Skjelvan Eiendom, gave us an update on what is happening in the housing market and what characterizes the best selling new build projects so far this year.
• Tor Øyvind Lehmann, Head of Project Management at Backe, spoke about Backe and its journey toward standardization across the group; the talk title was One direction, many projects. Backes path toward standardization.
• Christoffer Pettersen, co founder and former managing director at Avo Consulting, delivered an engaging talk on the development of AI with several live demos showing practical examples for everyday work.
• Tina Ek Halvorsen, Head of Customer and Aftersales at Solon Eiendom, spoke about Solons journey to standardize and streamline the aftersales phase in housing projects.
• Guy Montuelle, CEO and co founder of Rubus, gave a short update on what we have worked on recently and shared some insight into what is coming to the platform.
The talks gave participants insight into market trends, project management, customer follow up, and the technology of the future. Contact us if you would like the presentations from the event.
Bringing the industry together
After the professional program we opened the Rubus office for a social gathering with food, drinks, and a great atmosphere. It was nice to see that so many stayed well into the evening. Bringing the industry together for both professional input and informal conversation creates value on many levels. We greatly appreciate that so many joined us. The event shows that there is a strong need for arenas where we can meet across companies and roles and exchange experiences.
Thanks for a great evening. Watch the video, and we will see you at the next Rubus Afterwork 👋
