Highly Requested Improvements Across Rubus

This release brings a large set of highly requested features designed to improve efficiency and project oversight across Rubus.

📱 Inspections App | Faster, Smarter & More Reliable

Many of our customers are already using the Inspections App, but we know some users may have missed it. It’s available on both iOS and Android, and you simply log in with your regular Rubus credentials.

Work better offline

You can now complete multiple inspections, update cases, take photos, and annotate content fully offline. And simply reconnect to sync and finish. This makes fieldwork far more stable and flexible.

Voice-to-text for quick documentation

Dictate descriptions directly into the app using your device’s built-in microphone. A great time-saver during busy inspections.

Improved navigation & data handling

We’ve polished the inspection flow with clearer layouts, better loading feedback, improved text handling, and more predictable case and participant management.

Platform Enhancements | More Flexibility Across Projects

Easier access to project terms

Homebuyers can now see the exact project terms they’ve accepted, while admins can track this information directly from the unit log for better transparency.

Improved floor plan handling

PDF floor plans now behave consistently across all modules. A simple cropping step ensures they always convert properly and display correctly everywhere — including the plotter and buyer landing pages.


More and more customers are using Rubus in commercial building projects and we have done some smaller adjustments to better cater for a broader user of the Rubus platform:

New unit types

Two new unit types — Commercial and Three-unit building — make it easier to structure and filter different property categories.

Order confirmations for admins

Admins can now generate order confirmations when signing options, and decide whether to store them or send them directly to buyers.

Faster subcontractor workflow

Subcontractors can mark quotes as “Ready to send” automatically when saving — removing a common bottleneck and helping admins move faster.

Improved project and unit organization

  • Projects can be copied between company profiles
  • The project overview only shows projects relevant to your active profile

These updates streamline setup and reduce unnecessary complexity in large organizations.

🛠️ Aftermarket | Better Exports & Multi-Unit Workflow

Customizable case export

A new, flexible export tool lets you choose exactly which fields to include, with many new data points added and your preferences saved on your device.

Create one case for multiple units

A huge time-saver: you can now create a single case that applies to several units at once, perfect for issues that affect many units simultaneously.

Improved buyer search

Buyers can now search cases by ID and tag, making navigation much easier in larger multifamily projects or commercial real estate projects.

Contact info on case cards

You can now easily access all contact info for the responsible on a case, directly from the case card, and copy on one click

Beta version of the customer survey dashboard

Several customers have started testing our customer survey module, and we have released the first version of the dashboard.

Several improvements on the case triggered surveys with different types of triggers and frequency.
